Novell认证报考指南
NOVELL在1985年全球第一家推出CNA（NOVELL认证网络管理员）教育资格认证，并于1990年、1994年先后推出了CNE（NOVELL认证网络工程师）和MasterCNE（NOVELL认证高级网络工程师），1997年第一个推出专门针对Internet领域的CIP（授权Internet专家），目前NOVELL的CNE授证已经成为IT行业的标准。
SUSE Linux
1．Novell认证Linux专家（Novell Certified Linux Professional 10）（Novell CLP）
2．Novell认证Linux工程师(Novell Certified Linux Engineer 10)（Novell CLE）
NetWare
3．Novell认证网络管理员(Certified Novell Administrator)（CAN）
4．Novell认证工程师(Certified Novell Engineer)（CNE）
5．Novell认证大师级工程师(Novell Certified Engineer)（MCNE）

6．Novell认证讲师(Certified Novell Instructor)（CNI）
7．Novell学术讲师(Novell Academic Instructor)（NAI）
考生应针对自己的情况报考相应级别的NOVELL认证考试。一般来说，由于NOVELL认证考试具有全球性，因此考生中不少是准备出国、移民、留学的人，一些在IT行业或准备从事IT行业的人以及一些大学生也希望能拥有NOVELL认证证书。CNE和MCNE都得参加一系列考试，MCNE必须于成为CNE以后再加考数科。
注册时间：周一至周日
第一次考试提前5个工作日向考试中心注册，随后的考试应在集中考试时间的前2个工作日注册
考生需到授权的考试中心注册一个ID，并预约合适的考试日期
定期考试，报名时请向考试中心咨询考试时间。
考生应在预约的考试日期准时参加考试

考生在计算机上直接作答，题目内容则穿插选择题、实作题及少数的填充题。测试科目有变动式(Adaptive)和固定式(Conventional)。变动式题数不固定,至少为15题、至多25题，但测试时间最长为30或60分钟；固定式约为50~80多题试题，测试时间为60~120分钟
